Original and rare larger-size early 1970`s Zenith Defy Gauss automatic steel watch. This watch was one of the icons of the 1970's “modern” watch design, and it is in its original untouched condition, in proper working order and complete with its original lobster bracelet
The blue dial Defy Gauss watch was produced between 1971 and 1973 in a limited number of 600 timepieces, and it was meant to provide a superior resistance to magnetic fields.
The original manufacture-grade automatic Zenith cal. 2562 PC movement, runs well and it keeps proper time, it has been professionally timed, oiled and regulated and is delivered with our 6 months guarantee
the original blue dial is in very good condition, shows a light and pleasant stardust effect, with this model`s classic date display at 4 o'clock
the original and hefty Espada-style steel case is in original unmolested condition, it measures 37,8 mm, without counting the crown, x 45 mm (lugs included)
the case shows normal traces of use and it retains its edges and bevels, it seems never to have been touched or polished
Original Zenith signed and numbered steel case back and original screw-in crown
The original mineral glass is in excellent condition
